Here are some easy ways to solve common beauty problems with ingredients you'll find around the house.

The trusty cucumber slices from days past is actually a good solution. if they are chilled they bring down puffiness, and cucumber has anti-irritating properties. Irritated Skin and Sunburn Soaking in a cool bath with a few cups of powdered milk soothes irritated skin, as does soaking a washcloth in milk and used as a compress. Be sure to follow up with moisturizer as it can dry out the skin as it evaporates.
